What is Seedance 2.5?

Seedance 2.5 is ByteDance's newest AI video model (released August 2026). It generates videos up to 30 seconds long with native audio in a single pass, and keeps characters consistent using reference images.

How does my AI character get into the video?

You create an AI character on Photo AI from your selfies (creating characters is free). When you make a video, Photo AI sends your character's photos to Seedance 2.5 as reference images, so the person in the video is you.

How much does a Seedance 2.5 video cost?

Videos start at 10 credits for 5 seconds, up to 60 credits for 30 seconds. Photo AI is the cheapest platform to use Seedance 2.5.

Can my character talk in the video?

Yes. Upload a voice sample when making a video and your character speaks with your voice. Without a sample, Seedance 2.5 still generates native audio like ambient sound and speech.

Can I put multiple people in one video?

Yes, select up to 4 of your AI characters and they appear together in the same shot.
